Online check-in for a Virgin Atlantic flight opens 24 hours before a flight is due to depart and closes 70 minutes beforehand. Online check-in allows you to pick your seats at the same time and you can also add any extra baggage you may want on your journey. To check in online simply go to the Virgin Atlantic website and log in using your username or flight number (this can be found on your confirmation email) and a password that you created yourself. Once you have logged in you will be able to view your flight details and follow the instructions to check in. Once checked in, you will be presented with downloadable boarding passes for each passenger on your booking. You will either need to print these or download them to your smartphone and show them when you arrive at the airport.
