Rather than offering investment banking or corporate finance, TSB offers ‘local banking’- helping local businesses and people manage their money. At the time of writing in September 2016, you can get 18 months of free business banking, whether you switch a pre-existing business account or start from scratch. You can get support from a relationship manager, manage your account online and more. Once you’re out of the 18 months free banking, you can switch to an account which is right for you and your business. You can pay a fixed rate for a certain amount of transactions or pay per transaction, whichever is best for you. If you bank using only online or telephone banking, you can benefit from lower charges for such transactions.
Business customers can also benefit from savings accounts, credit cards, loans and more.

When you switch your mortgage to TSB, you may be able to get a shorter mortgage. Alternatively, the bank will try to lower your monthly payments- whichever you think may be best for you.

TSB bank was founded in 2013, formed from several Lloyds TSB branches across the UK. The name TSB was previously used by the Trustee Savings Bank before it merged with Lloyds Bank in 1995. Separating TSB from Lloyds was necessary due to a ruling by a European Commission that the bank had state aid as a result of a Government share. TSB was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2014 and the Spanish bank Sabadell took over in 2015.
Today, the bank has a network of over 630 branches, with over 4.5 million customers and over £20 million in customer deposits and loans. The headquarters can be found in Edinburgh, Scotland.
