Toni and Guy
Toni and Guy is a hairdressing brand that has won many awards for its services. It has been the sponsor of London Fashion Week for 25 seasons, or 12 years. This means that stylists behind the scenes working on hair use Toni & Guy products and products are given away in goodie bags at the shows. There are over 450 Toni & Guy salons in 48 countries around the world.
Toni and Guy Academy
Toni & Guy wants to help promote creative hairdressing so there is a Toni and Guy Academy. The Academy offers a range of courses from a beginner’s basic course to creative cutting and colouring, editorial, men’s or avant garde. So, whether you are interested in working in a local salon or on magazine photoshoots, there is a course at the Toni and Guy academy which will suit you. In 2016, the academy launched ‘In Session’, a host of evening seminars at the London academy where you can see the International Artistic Team, i.e. the best of the best, in action. You will find Toni and Guy academies all over the world in the following locations:
- Kuala Lumpur
Alongside practical hairdressing courses, there is a range of business courses where you will get a qualification. The courses include Level 2 Social Media Within a Business, or Level 2 How to Become an Outstanding Receptionist. The business courses are available at the London and Manchester academies.
For a Toni & Guy haircut for a much lower price, why not model for one of the academies? A haircut is £5, bleach/highlights are £25 and a perm is £15. You can currently only model at the London academy.
Toni and Guy Prices
Toni & Guy prices vary slightly depending on the location of the salon and the seniority of the stylist. For a cut and blow dry with a stylist (entry level), you can expect to pay around £39-44. A senior stylist cut costs around £45-50 and an art director can be around £55-£60. A blow dry can cost around £29 with a stylist or £35 with an art director. A full head of highlights can cost £99 with a technician or £110 with a technical creative director. If you’re looking for hair extensions, Toni & Guy has a wide range of styles but you can only get a price by having a consultation.

About Toni & Guy
After arriving from Italy in the 1950’s, the Mascalo family settled in London and the two sons Toni & Guy decided to follow the career path of their father and go into hairdressing. The first salon opened in 1963 whilst the brothers were still teenagers. By the 1970’s, there were three salons in London and the brand was beginning to be recognised by the media. In the 2000’s, Toni and Guy launched a product range, taking the brand into a new era.
