Delivery and Returns
When ordering a product online, you can choose whether you would like it delivered to your home, or whether you would like it to be delivered and collected in store. Delivery on The Range website is free on orders over £50 if the item is classed as a ‘regular product’. Regular products are basically any non-fragile or not anything overly large such as patio furniture. If it fits the criteria, regular items will be delivered for free if over £50 in total or £3.95 for orders under £50. If you have ordered a product that is not a regular item, delivery will be charged at £9.95 (furniture, large mirrors, patio sets etc). These can take up to five days to be delivered whereas regular items are guaranteed to be delivered within three days. If you have ordered an item and it has taken longer than 3 days to arrive, please call The Range head office contact number where your parcel can be located. You will be contacted by the courier via either text phone or email when your order is out for delivery so that you can arrange for it to be dropped in a safe and secure place if you are not available. If no-one is there to receive your parcel, a card will be left and delivered can quickly and easily be rearranged. For larger items, a special courier will have to be arranged to transport your product, so it is important you arrange a time where you will be available. If an item is heavy, such as furniture, the couriers will help you to carry it to a room of your choice (this is usually limited to first floor). Please note that the 3 and 5 day delivery windows on products can take slightly longer during busy periods and refer to delivery working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
If you want to return something in store to The Range, simply take your unwanted item to any of the The Range stores, and provided you have the receipt and the item is in its original condition, you will be refunded the full amount, usually onto the debit card you paid with. If a product is ordered online and you want to return it, you must notify The Range within 14 days, by either going online and emailing them or calling the Head Office contact number. If you have simply changed your mind about a product, then the item must be re-packed and sealed carefully to ensure it does not damage on return to the warehouse. You return will not be accepted, and in turn a refund not be issued if your product is not sent back in a re-saleable condition. A return will be made at your own cost and proof of return must be acquired. If you are returning an item due to the fact that it is faulty, then you must call the head office contact number where you will be given an email address to send photographs of proof that the item has been damaged. If The Range agree that the item is not to a satisfactory standard, then they will arrange for collection and a refund or exchange will be given to the customer. Please allow 5-7 days for the refund to clear in your account.
You can cancel any item ordered on The range website and receive a free refund if the cancellation is made before the item is dispatched. Please note that this will not apply to any items that are personalised or made to order for you. If you have received your items already, or they have already been dispatched, you will need to follow the returns process, where you will receive a refund if the item is returned in a saleable condition. If you have ordered an item and wish to cancel it, you can either do so online by email or you can call the head office contact number and you will be put through top the right department, to ensure your cancellation is registered.
