Natwest: When is interest paid?

When interest is paid on a savings account depends on what type of account it is. For the instant saver and cash ISA, interest is paid on the first business day of each month. For the first saver (which is for children under 7) interest is paid on the first business day of January, April, July and October.

Go to online banking, select statements and click your account- you’ll see ‘view, save and print PDF statements’- choose the period you want the statement to be from and click download statement.

There is no maximum amount that you can withdraw from a counter. However, if you are taking out a particularly large amount, Natwest advises that you call your local branch in advance to check they can fulfil the request.

You can apply for an increased overdraft at any time as long as you are aged 18 or over and have a Natwest current account. You can increase your overdraft online by filling out an application form or by visiting your local Natwest branch to speak to an adviser.
