About Made.com – 0844 826 8659
Made.com is an online retailer based in London, specialising in designer furniture. The company launched in 2010 with a 2.5 million funding, which then turned to £6 million in series B financing. Factories work for commission to meet the Made.com orders rather than Made.com actually owning the factories. They have its head office in London and then also have one in Shanghai and employ around 160 members to their team. The business has been extremely successful from the beginning with sales up by 200% in 2012 in comparison to 2011. They collaborate with a number of designers on a lot of their products which results in quirky and extremely likeable, yet affordable furniture.

Made.com Delivery – 0844 248 2084
Made.com delivery charges and services depend on how much you order as well as the size of the item – but don’t worry, their delivery charges are capped so no matter how much you order, the most you will pay for delivery is £39.95 each time. Delivery for most items will happen within 24 hours of dispatch. You will receive a notification either via text message or email alerting you to the fact that your item has been dispatched. Please do not confuse this with delivery as this will occur when the couriers have received the item from mMade.com (usually within 24 hours). Made.com charges a separate delivery charge per item, and these charges are added up at the checkout (capped at £39.95) so that your delivery bill does not get too pricey. Small items that are priced at under £50 will cost £3.95 to be delivered and the delivery will take place between 9 am and 5 pm, if you are not available to take the delivery a card will be left and your item will be taken to your local post office, where you will then have to collect it. If items are still small but have been bought for over £50 then you will be charged £5.95 to have them delivered. These items will be delivered within a one-hour delivery slot which you will be made aware of on the day that the item is out for delivery. Mid-size items will cost £14.95 each, and include items such as a coffee table and small chairs/ottomans. The prices increase the bigger and heavier the items get and full terms of delivery can be viewed on the Made website, or by calling the contact number. Deliveries are usually made in the week, but on occasion, they do provide the option for weekend delivery, if this is the case, you will be given the choice at the checkout.if you are having your item delivered to an offshore location, this can take up to 14 working days.
