About Cineworld – 0844 249 2417

Cineworld has a grand total of 2,049 screens across all of its locations and is the second largest cinema operator in Europe. It operates in 221 locations across 9 countries and is an extremely popular form of entertainment, showing the latest from the film industry. There are 800 screens in the UK alone. The first Cineworld site opened in 1996 in Hertfordshire. The second opened in 1998 and the other followed at a steady rate after that. Cineworld came under fire in August 2013 when it was revealed that Cineworld employed a significant number of their staff on zero hour contracts. Each Cineworld cinema has between 1 and 20 screens and they offer a subscription service for customers that visit regularly known as the Cineworld Unlimited card.

Cineworld is a great place to catch up on all the latest movies that have been recently released as well as enjoying new and exciting cinema experiences such as IMAX, Superscreen and 4DX. Most useful Cineworld information can be found on the Cineworld website, including what films are currently showing and what Cineworld will be showing soon. To book tickets for a film of your choice, you can either head to a Cineworld cinema and buy them at the box office on arrival or, to save queuing, you can purchase tickets online and print them from one of the ticket collection points that will be inside your local cinema. To book a cinema ticket online, simply choose you favoured film and match it with your location. You will be shown dates and times for this film. Simply select a slot and if it is not fully booked, you will be able to select how many people you are buying a ticket for and even select whereabouts in the cinema you would like to sit. Once you have purchased the tickets, simply take the card you used to buy them and enter it into a self-service machine. Prices for Cineworld depending on the type of ticket that you are buying, the date and time of the performance. For example, a Saturday night performance may be a little pricier than a Wednesday afternoon, even though the same film is showing. Please check the website for details and prices of the particular time and film you want to see. If you have any complaints to make or are struggling to use the Cineworld website, then please call the Cineworld Head Office contact number and a member of the team can provide assistance. Not sure what to watch? The Cineworld website gives detailed descriptions of each movie that they show, including showing the trailer so you can decide for yourself which one would suit you. You can also check how many screens your local cinema has as this will affect how often films are repeated, etc.
